I was employed as a Full Time Graphic Designer and Finished Artist in the product development department of a wholesale company based in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne that manufacture and distribute lighting products Australia wide.

 

My role was to create new concepts and update pre-existing packaging artwork for Brilliant and its brands to be sold in Bunnings an other independent retailers. I also managed the production of art during peak times, including arranging and managing freelancers when demand was high.

 

I was involved with the briefing process, which included direct contact with managers, participating and overseeing the artwork production process, developing design concepts, arranging photoshoots, extensive photoshop retouching, uploading artwork to overseas suppliers via FTP and proofing color artwork samples from overseas suppliers.
